I think at the moment everyone's just relying on a lot of second-hand reports. We need to wait and see what happens at the December meeting.
If it's a decision to keep Israel in the contest I'm going to just watch the national finals and then just stop watching when things move to Vienna.

Honestly, given my chances of heading to Vienna in May are looking less and less because *gestures at everything that's happening* it feels like a VERY tempting alternative.

Hard to say at the moment. I think we just have to sit and wait to see how it plays out. If Israel stays I'm just gonna watch the national finals and then nope out for the main contest.

Dunno about permanently. I do think it's clear that if Israel is there next year at least some countries will pull out for 2026.

Hard to say really. One wildcard is that Lebanon, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria and Morocco are all EBU members, so if they turn up to vote that could be decisive.
