Dude who rocks
Only an extremely heavy pub drinker would benefit - probably £2 a week. is this really their target above young families? if so we should welcome more policy announcements and publicise them.

There’s a very real demographic shift going on across the country (popular schools outside London are also experiencing lower demand and expanding catchment areas).
Without meaning to be glib, the cemeteries running out of space is the other side of the coin.

my mates are Arsenal and they’ve been moaners for 20 odd years. it‘s like they go searching for the misery and remove any joy. i love my friends though, so of course I wind them up

It’s a good idea - we need to invest in productive assets more.

Make media studies compulsory education - now that’s a policy I can agree with that would help young people

I’m not sure how this will work. Plus from my observations, it’s the old rather than the young who need protection from the harm of social media.

Let them know when and the duration. I‘d also ask them if that was acceptable, as it is a Sunday. They probably don’t care, though at least you would have shown respect.

I spend every 2nd January updating my christmas card list and then writing to them to confirm that I believe them not to be a racist. it’s a normal thing to do.

Starmer did win though, otherwise how else did he become PM? as for breaking all pledges, I see a government who have strengthened workers and renters rights, negotiated free trade deals, taken away charitable status from public schools and removed non dom status. all Promises in their manifesto

that’s interesting perspective. While most of my friends and family don’t support reform there are some. The common thread I see are they predominately work on instincts/vibes. they also wouldn’t want to be associated with racism. if anything they tend to be non voters.

Sorry, what? didn’t he take them from their lowest performance at a GE since 1935 and into government in 4/5 years? Sure, he’s done things I don’t agree with, but I can’t see how he’s ruined what was a wrecked party to begin with.

i think you’ve misunderstood his supporters and modern Britain. there isn’t 30% of the population who’d chant hitler songs or what he’s allegedly said. they are thankfully fringe. what we have is a population who don’t engage with politics and so *don‘t know about this*

When I die burying me.
Hang my balls from a cherry tree
When they’re ripe, take a bite
Don’t blame me if you have diarrhoea all night.

I think it’s the other way round.

This was like the conversation I had with a recent graduate who claimed “everyone” at their red brick Russell group university used AI. when pushed he revealed that he was somewhat scared of being left behind and then failing.

Be honest, £1.5m is not enough for Luton. I’m not having a pop but sorting out the arndale and town centre would cost many (many) multiples.
