I heard years ago from an HR person that they could tell a dysfunctional workplace by seeing Dilbert cartoons pinned to the noticeboard.

The weird thing I find with the conservatives is they have all the political room to be negative about X/twitter. opposite position to Reform and no international consequences like Labour. most people will agree with them and they’d have one over Labour... seriously strange

Something that often goes unsaid is how good the bbc is outside of political reporting. for my main hobbies I inevitably find the bbc has a resource e.g. gardening, cooking and wandering around.

Entertaining as this spat is, it contains not-a-flicker of recognition as to WHY this might be happening.

For 16 months, a tax-exile-oligarch-owned, mostly right-wing press, has abused the privilege of these exclusive private sessions, to misrepresent the gov't on every issue. This is the FO stage.

Last week I found the robin that had been following me around the garden for the past month dead in my shed. I must have left it open, it flew in and then I closed it. I miss you x

The V&A is better than natural history museum by a mile. The ironwork section by itself needs a special mention, though to be fair the birds and insects in natural history is top tier.

To think it’s not already listed is strange. I get to walk past/through/over it regularly. So much to take in that can’t be easily summed up from photos.

If you're filing a self-assessment tax return in the UK today and also dealing with Barclays meltdown: File your return online as normal. You don't need the bank to do that. Then pay your outstanding tax when the system is back up; major penalties don't kick in until 30 days' late payment.
