I knew I would watch any movie Rob Reiner made after watching Spinal Tap in 1984 at the Varsity theater in DM with my sister. We laughed so hard. I later took my boyfriend, who didn't get it. At all. I knew that relationship was doomed.

My heart breaks for a) any military member who isn't a straight white guy, and b) our country, which is unnecessarily vulnerable due to the misguided priorities of the Fox hack and orange menace. Ugh.

I love the idea that every dollar I spend is a little vote for the kind of world in which we live. This makes me shop at small businesses, farmers' markets, arts & music festivals, etc. and talk to the people doing the work.
