You remind me of something a friend said recently. who years ago moved with her cat named Squirrel, to France.

I can't find anything that validates this meme. There was a shooting, but it wasn't fatal, it was in a person's leg.

Thank you for all of this information, but I'm not gonna lie - it was really hard to keep reading, and I didn't even do any deep diving. It's all so unbelievably horrible. I remember reading about some of this a few months ago, but there's just been way too MUCH to take it all in. :/

One thing this has accomplished is that we have proven that we won't be stopped by fear. They tried to paint it that there would be riots, with National Guard stepping in to control it. We didn't stay home. You SAVE democracy by exercising your RIGHTS. We did that today, big time.
