One day I'll finally finish that book I've been writing for years.
They told me that most of the time once chemo stops so does the neuropathy, but staying on top of it is the best route.

4 more rounds to go!

It's not severe, it just feels like the tips of my fingers are just slightly starting to go to sleep. No pain/tingling, and I still have full sensation. Hopefully the ice packs will help (it's supposed to work the same way the cold cap is), but I'm going to send oncology a message just in case.

I've started to develop a little neuropathy in my fingertips (a side effect they warned me about), so today I used the cold packs for my hands and feet (and stayed awake to put them on once the Taxol started!). I had to take a short break here and there, but I kept them on for the entire hour!

I mean I get why he didn't but still. It irritates me to an irrational degree 😂

The whole time that damn lion was whining about "Elphaba took me from my home and put me somewhere else!" Fyiero/Scarecrow could have jumped in AT ANY POINT and said "shut your scared ass up, she saved you and I was there and helped!"

I see mine every other Thursday. Proud of you ❤️

Next week we'll reach the halfway mark of this leg of the journey. While I was back in the infusion room today, someone got to ring the bell out in the waiting room because they were done. Only 7 more weeks until I get to do that!

I was at the hospital today from 7:45 until about 3:30. I had to run to the store for a few last-minute turkey day things afterwards, so I opted to just use a hat rather than try to do anything with my hair post-cold cap. I honestly don't hate the look!

Echo had no changes and labs were okay - white count holding around 8-9, but hemoglobin and hematocrit are starting to drop off the normal range. The fatigue is starting to get real - I napped off and on through most of today's treatment (we were closed today so no work laptop).

....and then yell at the TV "YOUR PARENTS DRIVE A HUGE ASS LINCOLN, YOU DON'T NEED MONEY!"

Triple positive breast cancer - it sucks on SO many more levels than meets the eye!
🤦🏼‍♀️😭🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

I can expect hair fall to start in earnest now (hopefully the cold capping will keep it to a minimum) and for side effects to start compounding. Have my 2nd echo next week to check in on my heart post-herceptin. Gonna do everything I can to keep feeling good for as long as possible!
