My dad and stepmom's church do this little global market jawn every year ahead of Christmas, and less importantly it's actually a wicked good oil, but also this is like year six or seven that she's given us a bottle, and the fact that it's still in production after all of everything means a lot.
A bottle of fair trade extra virgin olive oil grown in Palestine. The brand is Zatoun, if you can find it.

The usually glorious interior of 30th Street Station with its sky-high ceiling except right now literally everything is covered in scaffolding and a lot of the seating is gone. There's an automat-like kiosk in the foreground that's supposedly a replacement for the newsstand.

I have completely thrashed the threading on this, but here's the outcome of my first time hosting Thanksgiving at my own house for my sister and niece.
A finished pot of mushroom gravy. It's sort of a tawny brick color with slices of crimini mushrooms and tiny leaves of thyme visible. Three puff pastry pockets. The initial hope was for a sort of vegetarian wellington center-of-the-table entree but I'm a terrible baker. They're filled with wild rice, some tofu, butternut squash pepitas, golden raisins, and roasted sweet potatoes and parsnips and something else I'm forgetting. A vegetarian thanksgiving tablescape with stuffing (dressing really, only the humans got stuffed this year), roasted garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and the mushroom gravy and puff pastry pockets from the other pictures. There are colorful plates and napkins. A closer view of the now baked puff pastry mini-wellingtons. They each have three slashes through the crust and, I gotta say, are really nicely golden brown.

ANYhoodle friends tonight I made some food
about half a dozen garlic marinated charcoal grilled shrimp several large morsels of marinated charcoal grilled beef An outdoor mise en place of shrimp, beef, and vegetable kabobs along with a bowl of marinated chicken breast. There's a beer there, and a laptop showing Game of Thrones. Several charcoal roasted and peeled blackened baby bell peppers and a halved red onion deeply browned.

I get lots and lots of emails blasts from vendors, and it's obvious that more and more of them are using genAI to produce artwork. Look at this nonsense from one of my seafood vendors. Employ artists!!
