Compare & contrast. This is Trump’s demand for Greenland. And this is Hitler’s for the Sudetenland.

There is no difference. The language. The unstoppable need to dominate. The megalomania. It’s the same.

And Keir Starmer’s response is appeasement. We are in that moment.

Forget the 1.5m at 30mph or 2m above nonsense. Keep it simple. Get all four wheels across the line, or get six points and a fine.

Drivers struggle to judge distance, especially at speed. The line is a clear marker.

A few months ago, ICE hired me

I didn't sign and submit any paperwork. I almost certainly failed the drug test. I'm real outspoken about my opposition to the Trump administration, and I am extremely googlable

And yet, there it was, in plain English. "Welcome to ICE!"

My latest for Slate
You’ve Heard About Who ICE Is Recruiting. The Truth Is Far Worse. I’m the Proof.
What happens when you do minimal screening before hiring agents, arming them, and sending them into the streets? We're all finding out.

Unacceptable. A road — possibly associated with Tren de Aragua — left unpaved by Minnesota radicals weaponized itself against two of our courageous officers, causing one to discharge his firearm in self-defense.

We stand by our brave boys.

One reason I feel like I'm going mad is, even if Musk did immediately halt Grok and issue a grovelling apology - rather than PAYWALLING IT - he should *still* be prosecuted and his website banned. Very obviously! You don't get out of CSAM charges by just stopping. AND HE STILL HASN'T STOPPED.

The Group Chat examines the scale of the Grok deepfake crisis, the numbers behind it, and what the Irish Government can do.

This morning Rape Crisis Ireland has called for a ban on AI 'nudification' functions which can (and have) produced sexual images of children and adults.

RCI: 'There seems to be no reason for the existence of "nudification" functionality on AI apps beyond exploitation...'

just for fun, I looked at the supposed "open source" system prompt for Grok (which seems like it hasn't been updated for two months) and WOOF

"'teenage' or 'girl' does not necessarily imply underage"

and

"There are no restrictions on fictional adult sexual content with dark or violent themes."

Declan Shalvey there, only a page away from Richard Littlejohn. What a disappointment.
The Free Speech Union commissioned a "security" report on us, so we tested their security. Turns out - it sucks.

We've now published the names of everyone who has donated to a FSU fundraiser, along with how much they gave and to which campaign.

Is it really that simple? Are they really that bad at this? Labour have been dismal over the last year and a half but, like every other strategic move, this week's attack on the Greens is 3 months late and is still wide of the mark.

Being stuck in an in-fight from 6 years might explain a lot.
FWIW, the NATO line worked on Corbyn which is why I suspect that Starmer thinks that it will work on Polanski.
Ahh a low-salience issue and then a vote for Bart is a vote for anarchy. You can see the political geniuses behind the present disaster at work.

The thing is, feminists have long had fluent, evidence-backed arguments showing that breaking free of essentialised gender roles benefits everyone, including men and boys who may be feeling isolated.

But we live in societies structured on ignoring women, so instead we hear from these guys...
If this is the alternative to the manosphere, we are in trouble.

This reminded me of a Scrap Saturday sketch where Gay Byrne was complaining about doing the Toy Show:

"And what about the Billy Barry Kids? One more nauseating than the next, with showbiz mothers all hoping their child will be the next Twink... One mutation in a generation is enough, thank you."
It's Toy Show night and that means I'll be spending all day thinking about the Toy Show Musical. We don't think or talk about it nearly enough. A load of suits thinking they can crack the big scale musical market using a festive edition of a chat show? Come on!

THEY THOUGHT IT WOULD RUN EVER YEAR!!

Knew I recognized this name and lady.

I interviewed her five years ago when she livestreamed herself tearing down a rack of masks in a Target and called herself "QAnon's spokesperson" when she got arrested.

She told me she was bipolar and was seeking treatment.
