Found some pics of me from right after high school while I was home for Christmas and am way too entertained by the two tone nature of my hair.
Tldr: was life guard, sunbleached hair, mom cut it right before trip (hence no blend), hair underneath wasn't sun bleached, top was, two tone anime hair.

I think The Sins on their Bones is the dark gay one (it's about a gay breakup where the one guy steals the other guy's throne or something, and there's discussion (and maybe a scene?) of sexual assault between them. The fantasy world is based on Russian Jewish culture or something.)
