It looks like I will be beefing a lot about identity politics. This is NOT intolerance. In fact, I am a Unitarian lay leader. We need to "respect the inherent worth and dignity of every person", but we win elections by giving everyone economic opportunity.

Here's an interesting history of "identity politics". TLDR -- It was always a rightwing ploy and the left made a mistake to put it front and center.

I joined Blue Sky specifically to try to get through to Deb Haaland. A Republican governor will destroy NM as Trump destroys the US, so Haaland has to win. All her fundraising texts are about her Native American identity, "Rock my mocs" and "Ribbon skirt". It's a bad strategy IMHO. Issues please!
