I've been watching a lot of the old Disney Silly Symphonies with my daughter. They're module from the 20's and 30's and they all seem to have fantasy premises. It's interesting to see fantasy ideas from before Tolkien (and those influenced by him) upended everything.

I haven't read the new Monster Manual, but I have read that many formerly humanoid monsters were recategorized. For example, goblins (and their relatives) are now fey. This would be a shift to a more folklore style of goblins, but none of the lore changed. What do you think about the change? #ttrpg
