The new owners of my parent's house (I grew up in it) took down the water oak that provides shade across the entire front yard. They're going to learn why that tree is there when Atlanta's summer heat hits them. IIRC the tree is older than the house and spared the saw when the neighborhood was built

just saw a nissan sentra with LARGE holes in the rotors that are definitely not meant to be there

Because its pointless and it makes it seem like others are agreeing with you when they're not.

The difference is that there is a MUCH greater degree of separation between the tracks with the CTA and MBTA orange lines. If path were to make that separation, it would be far more than a simple fence due to track spacing regulations. The ROWs are also intertwined, unlike other systems

Ok so I checked and its specifically any agency regulated by the FTA that also isnt connected to the national rail network. Seemingly path has tried to change this, but hasn't had luck due to them running on the same ROW as the NEC.

Also, just wondering, why do you keep liking your own posts?

Upon further inspection, two things:
1. Some of the locations listed on their website for online ordering are actually closed
2. There are seemingly locations in the new york and philly areas that are open, but aren't on boson markets online ordering system

Per reviews, food is dry and not good.

Seems like theres some fairly recent reviews but based on them I wouldn't be surprised if they're having issues

Fun fact: there are 158 train numbers reused by Metra across different lines. Seemingly the biggest "offender" is the Metra electric. While most of these trains with shares numbers operate at different time, some overlap (sometimes completely).

This has made my life hell as a developer.

Seems like ORD's traffic growth has held steady, while DEN's shrinkage is slowing (but is still shrinkage), and DFW is shrinking faster. These are comparisons of the YTD numbers with the same ones last year.

(I'm waiting on the DoA to respond to my FOIA request with september data)

Occasionally I remember that Shady Maple is "only" a 2.5 hour trip from downtown philly and the next time I'm on the east coast I'd love to day trip out to Lancaster and make a trip to the buffet

November 6, 2025 at 8:52 PM
It seems like they've officially renamed it from "Satellite Concourse 1" to "Concourse D" (ok maybe it was called that all along, im not sure) which is probably going to be much less confusion over time lmao
November 6, 2025 at 5:48 PM
I wish the DOA talked more about the construction of the new concourses because these fuckers are MOVING
November 6, 2025 at 5:46 PM
Right. Also only feeds four people, which is less people than most thanksgivings have. For $40 you can get a lot more, and much more varied, food at Aldi. Feeds 10 apparently

It feels insane that the NYT only has results for elections that they seemingly deem to be "worthy". Come on now...
