I made a change to a cloud solution and got a status response "We are verifying your change. Please check back in a few hours."

That was unexpected. I appreciate the honesty though.

Through a roundabout discussion from what home/car insurance is for, then disaster response, and then what a government is, my son asked if CoVid was in Antarctica. Per Wikipedia, it did. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-1...

I’m generally of the opinion manually blocking senders for phishing attacks after the campaign ended isn’t useful. Attackers will just register new free email addresses.

But then they do something silly and re-use a half dozen addresses from a month ago which all get blocked, proving usefulness.

Packing my son’s lunch:

Him: “Can you not use yellow bread? The other kids say it’s yucky.”

And now I can’t buy potato bread because of peer pressure.

Researchers have found two new vulnerabilities in React Server Components while attempting to exploit the patches last week.

These are new issues, separate from the critical CVE last week. The patch for React2Shell remains effective for the Remote Code Execution exploit.

Never expected Sainz to have the season he’s had with Williams. I thought Piastri had the race today. #QatarGP

Pain is trying to enjoy F1 with how terribly Ferrari are doing. This is just embarrassing in Qatar.

If you told me that one day the Macy’s Day parade would have a Toy’s R Us float with Lil Jon singing Turn Down for What, I’d never believe you.
You know you’re old when the Macy parade is mostly playing music popular when you were a youth.

An AI support agent from an AI company has started spamming me about a support request. Nothing useful, just constant generic updates it’s reviewing my support case from over a month ago. Yay AI. I’m perplexed.

Someone posted a sovereign citizen plate on Raleigh Reddit. Thinking about it, shouldn't ICE be having confrontations with these people since they don't consider themselves citizens?

6-7 has entered my household. So far just mildly annoyed. We’ll see how long the kids stay fascinated by it.
