Oh you mean the lifting animation ones? Pretty sure it's meant to emphasize the strain of lifting the object and giving whatever sprite he's trying to lift a slight shadow. My biggest issue with these sprites has always been the lack of shading on his arms and hair where everything alse has shading.

The different shades of green is weird but in the blue/red mail the hat is yellow/purple respectively so it seems intentional. Also what five o clock shadow i can't see it 😭

Custom Robo also does this for the climax but you need to decline like 100 times

Hybrid Class Cards lmao. Frailty Trap counts as an Assassin and Ranger card, but can be in the card pool of Assassins OR Rangers. Compred to like Comet Storm // Shock, which can only be used by Lightning Wizards

Hybrid mana stuff sucks bc flesh and blood solved this problem four years in and it did not ruin the "sanctity" of the game or anything; it made limited better, gave classes tools they were lacking, and allows one card to provide utility to a specific subset of classes without being generic, etc

When I started playing the game, the way hybrid worked for commander was frustratingly unintuitive to me because it is antithetical to how those cards are designed for every other format.

To do it, go to their quote-tweet of you, click on the three dots in the bottom right, then click “detach quote.”

It shows up as “removed by author.”

The most frictionless way to play sinnoh contests as they originally were is probably through pokemon platinum

The diamond and pearl remakes are pretty functionally identical to the original games except for contests and the underground which were reworked for the most part. Contests are nothing like they were in either the original nor oras, turned into a rhythm minigame.
