Will the joint strike force be looking into organized crime in the White House?

Words are all well and good, but at this point we need action!

I’d be among the first to blame this administration if I thought their actions contributed to this crash. But for better or worse, it’s hard for me to draw a line from anything they’ve done so far to this disaster. The longer the hiring freeze lasts, the easier that line will be to draw though.

Or we could just not appoint him and then he wouldn’t have to learn…

Unpopular opinion here: let’s let the investigation play out before we we start assigning any blame. You very well may be right, but situations like this are almost always the result of failures of multiple systems and/or procedures that are designed to keep things like this from happening.

Hi, former military pilot here. This is normal. Pilots have requirements to accomplish certain tasks (take-offs, landings, night flights, etc) in order to maintain their qualifications to operate aircraft. Training flights are used to let them do these without the constraints of their usual missions

No way he wrote that.

I had the same thought. There are other ways that headline could have been written to not sound so callous.

Is that an Airwolf model on your desk?! I just realized I’m missing something in my life…

If you’re concerned, FR24 still works with location services turned off. You just don’t get your position dot, of course.

@normeisen.bsky.social You get to pick the headline for your opinion piece, right? Why ask a question when you could make it a statement instead?

I’ve unregretted every minute I haven’t spent over there
January 4, 2025 at 11:09 PM
Just watch out for that blasting area between you and BOOTI…

‘Tis the season!

It’ll be chaos. Probably a bunch of half-baked, Stephen Miller-authored executive orders on day one. The courts might stop/slow some of them down, but we’ll once again be finding our only comfort in the fact that the absolute worst-case scenario isn’t happening. Buckle up…will be wild! 😳
January 1, 2025 at 6:06 PM
Yeah, this is definitely the biggest concern we should all have about the incoming administration.

Great list! I got to go to Duxford for the 75th anniversary of D-Day in 2019 and it was amazing. Gotta check out the Eagle bar in Cambridge while there as well!

You guys are still watching MSNBC?!

I get the logic, but the only reason SS is on the chopping block is because republicans want to eliminate it in order to offset tax breaks for billionaires. Also, if Russia isn’t fully rebuked for starting a war of territorial expansion, it could get a lot more expensive down the road.
December 30, 2024 at 5:25 PM
That’s the right attitude! And thankfully no, but I have had a couple passengers say vaguely similar things 😏
