I'm not sure why I never noticed before. It's quite startling how much "the mugshot" resembles big brother in 1984.

The problem with rust unwrap (other than it should be named something else) is that it's in all of the tutorials. It's a runtime fatal assert, and reaching for that as a tool should be extremely rare. People learning rust (and I suspect AI) see unwrap and assume it's idiomatic.

I legit don't understand why rich capitalists aren't fighting to socialize everyone else's industry. It would leave people with more money to buy whatever they personally are trying to sell.
