Yeah. I had the small, white and pathologically non-threatening modifier to a few of mine, also, it wasn’t pure luck. There were a handful of people who were much, much nicer than they could have been. I have been aggressively paying that forward for almost 20 years now.

I think money is just shorthand for power, honestly. It’s not an exact 1:1 but it includes the ability to make things someone else’s problem and an almost infinite get out of consequences free card.

It was - the basin is almost exactly 5 sections long, minus 1-2 rows, so this was minimal cutting and piecing. Something went wildly wrong with tiling the inside of the rim (not pictured) but you can only see it from inside and I’ll always have my glasses off, so.

My Lent eating adventure next spring is gonna be the muskrat hotdish that local FC Catholics get a dispensation for (muskrat is red meat, although there is a contingent determined that it is fish because they’re semi-aquatic.)
