These are screen grabs from an internal animation test we did a year and a half ago. I'm surprised these images were released. Sofia's model has been revised at least 9 times since this test.

@craiggerber.com Totally hypothetical for fun (I know it can’t happen haha)… If a princess from one of the Barbie movies (such as Clara or Genevieve) were to be summoned by the amulet, who could you see helping Sofia the most? Or who would you have liked to have a cameo in general? ☺️👑💗

@craiggerber.com My friends and I had a theory that the reason Princess Charlotte had the Amulet but Sofia had to explain the abilities to her is because when Tilly had it she visited Isleworth and let her new friend borrow it, but not long enough to USE it and learn its powers. What do you think!?

@craiggerber.com When recasting a character (like how James was recasted a few times), do you go off of who sounds most similar to the previous/original actor or just simply a new voice you feel could match the character itself and their personality better/equally despite it not sounding alike?

@craiggerber.com How come in Sofia’s side of the Ever Realm, anyone can see ghosts when the ghosts choose, yet in Elena’s side only SHE can see ghosts but just on Day of the Dead? Even if the ghosts WANT to reveal themselves to others, they can’t. Does that mean there are different types of ghosts?

@craiggerber.com One of my favorite things about your writing is the secret foreshadowing! When something is mentioned but not reveal what it means until the time we would’ve forgotten; Such as The Elf Situation or King Roland’s first wish in the well. Will stuff like this happen in the new series?

@craiggerber.com Since Sofia discovers she is one of the most magical people in the realm, is it just because her amulet is super powerful? Or is she going to find out that she has magic inside her like Elena? (Probably because she spent time in the amulet as well or is just naturally gifted)

@craiggerber.com I know it’s been stated that Royal Magic will focus more on the present to not confuse newer audiences who don’t know the past; but will it at least be similar enough that if new fans want to later watch some of the original Sofia the First they won’t be confused by the differences?

@craiggerber.com I had a friend claim that Mandy Moore didn’t voice Rapunzel during The Curse of Princess Ivy. Said she can’t enjoy the song Dare to Risk it All because that’s not Mandy Moore and you can tell. Is this true? If not, can you give evidence that she came to voice Rapunzel?
