I know it’s a classic and all that, but I’ve never been able to look past Robert Shaw’s giddy, scattershot performance as Henry VIII. He reads through his lines instead of acting, with an utter lack of timing or emphasis on the important notes. He made up for it in Jaws, I guess.

Every side in every conflict over there would commit genocide if they had the means. The Palestinians took their poke on Oct. 7, and gave the Israelis the opportunity to show them why that was a bad idea. Wearing keffiyehs and vandalizing college quads in the US also didn’t improve the situation.
