This has always been my personal favorite (and I can't find the damned audio version with Doyle Redland of Onion Radio News which is just... spectacular!).

I had a beagle/basset mix named Belle (you know, Snoopy's sister). She was everything he's not - she was warm, kind, loving, and so so smart. Sadly she's no longer here for you to vote for her. She was the quintessential good dog.

When we get a pet, we make a deal, both with ourselves, and our pet - that we'll do the right thing, one very bad, no good, horrible day in the future.

Today was that very bad, no good, horrible day for my sweet baby Nog. She had the lobes for cuteness. A few pics, plus one with Dax.
