Thank you for this, watching now.

What annoys me here, is that a lot of the "do your own research" or "I don't trust the experts" crowd will claim some level of expertise in something (likely bullshit) and expect us to trust them!

This has always been my personal favorite (and I can't find the damned audio version with Doyle Redland of Onion Radio News which is just... spectacular!).

Be still my heart... I'm not the only nerd who memorized that!

(I heard the bleep boop noises reading it even)

I tell people - TWOK isn't a good Star Trek movie - it's a good movie, period.

You say this, and my mind INSTANTLY goes to the first battle, when she rolls in from high... the RED lights... Chills, and of course, I can HEAR Horner's score at that point...

I mean, Connie Refit is the most beautiful spaceship in all of sci-fi (I will throw down defending this opinion!)... But Reliant too is gorgeous. Or, perhaps better said, TWOK Miranda - I'm less a fan of all the Miranda variants... But Reliant? Gorgeous.

Dr. Nichols, this, this right here sir, is why I'm ride or die even when I don't always agree with you.

Here, your tastes are impeccable!

So much the better...

Radiofreetom fam knows what's up!

Also, I am jealous, I need these for my tree to go with Spock and McCoy.

The odds will be even...

If I can see vertebrae - then eat some burgers.

More seriously - I've never liked the ultra thin thing - I prefer that women look... like women, not sticks.

My confirmation email came a few minutes after the... preconfirmation confirmation(?) email.
November 28, 2025 at 5:28 AM
Yeah... me too. It's... interesting. Lego site says my purchase date was 11/27/25, Lego email says 11/28/25 (I'm EST).
November 28, 2025 at 5:27 AM
Mr. Wheaton, I would have thought... you'd have been kindly gifted one by the fine folks at Lego... I'm rooting for you, I was... luckily able to grab mine.

Dr. Nichols, I believe I know more than you about some things. Things you're not an expert in, that I am an expert in (if you ever need someone to figure out your capacity plan needs for a Dr. Nichols Is Always Right contact center, I'm your man). But the way people love to explain reality to you...

I had a beagle/basset mix named Belle (you know, Snoopy's sister). She was everything he's not - she was warm, kind, loving, and so so smart. Sadly she's no longer here for you to vote for her. She was the quintessential good dog.

My personal little story - Apollo 10. CSM Charlie Brown and LM Snoopy. My dad was a young ensign serving onboard USS Princeton - the pickup ship for Apollo 10 (heh, 10 years before I was born).

Anyway, the wife and I visit KSC, and I get to see all the Snoopy love at the Apollo/Saturn V building.

To this point I would say they started crushing the souls of players with the Cartel Market and loot box shenanigans. Hell, I even wasted Cartel coins on them to try to get armors/crystals/sabers I liked. (And I still prefer my Gree saber best so... wasted coins I guess.)

Indeed - and you could feel it then too.

The WoW killer hopes were always nonsense, but at the same time, they did have a good game. IA is a great story, and I have like 6 Guardians/Juggs (because I like it). Remember the good times of missing platforms for Soa in EV in the early days?

I... was a SWTOR beta tester, played from launch until 2021 when I just got... bored. Lord I remember launch day, waiting for my time to log in...

I miss it sometimes, but at the same time... Do I miss it?

So, does it show I've followed a while if, upon seeing the categories, I instantly clicked "The Person Who Needs to Touch Grass?"

So, I'm not necessarily a fan of Kroger - but... yeah. Considerably less expensive than Publix. Look, Publix has... nice-ish stores, and good quality produce - but... their prices are insane. Also (I'm gonna get killed for this) Pub subs are super overrated. I miss the Publix when I was a kid (80s)

In late October 2018, my wife and I walked into a car dealership and bought two brand new vehicles (this was exciting to us both - first brand new cars for us ever) for... $42,000 total. Mine was 20k, hers 22k. I kind of felt like it was an expensive day...

My dad used to come home every day from work and tell my mom and me "SOSDD" when asked how things were. Yeah, he did it same old shit, different day... That said, if he were still with us, he would LOVE this post. And yeah, he'd turn SSDH into SOSDH.
