I have another video today! It's about old-school video projectors and how amazing they were.

Seriously, not only is it almost unbelievable that this even works, but it's doing full HD video with incredibly good image quality. It's also a royal PITA.

One of several colour names I learned from playing the Pokémon games. ;)

BLG video is done; uploading now; should be up in 20~30 minutes! :)

As a total package you are apparently worth $22.45 CAD... plus tax. ;)

Having a rough day; Still committed to getting the next BLG video out (and it's going to be the first to have a "Dishonourable Mentions" segment) but it's definitely going to be up later than usual tonight. Don't have an expected time frame; I'll post again once I'm in the final stretch. :B

I haven't been going to theatres since the pandemic started for a variety of reasons. I do intend to see this movie eventually; will probably end up buying it on Blu-Ray. :B

Actually, what they do is scour WHOIS databases until they find domain names which are "close" to expiring, but not too close, scan public records to find any addresses associated, and then mail out the scare letter before the real registrar sends out their usual renewal notice. :P
pixelmusement.com
Recently my bane has been the less scrupulous domain registrars LITERALLY MAILING ME, as in, actual physical letters, scare warnings about losing my domain names if I don't re-register right away with them at three times the cost I presently pay to my current provider. :P

Urg... got hit with some food poisoning last night. >_<

The worst of it seems to have passed so hopefully I'll be good to do some recording for BLG later tonight as planned. :B

Regardless, if it's out of warranty you should open it up and inspect it for anything which looks out of the ordinary just in case it's something you can temporarily fix with some hot glue or something. :B

Another possibility is perhaps one of the less-critical electrical connections inside for a light or something has come loose and is creating a make/break cycle with itself similar to how a car blinker works?

I can think of a few possibilities. My gaming mouse has features for detecting its centre of gravity for weight calibration purposes. If your mouse has that same feature maybe one of the sensors for that have come loose and is being magnetically affected by the other sensors?

From what I remember from what little I've used of Unity, license verification problems when you have an active license generally come down to license-to-version incompatibilities, which is just plain dumb really; Unity locks their stuff down way more than they really should. >_<

...watch I go another eight hours and end up winning the game without ever fighting anyone... I WILL NOT BE SURPRISED if it is possible to win this thing without a single act of aggression, which yes, it'll be good if that's possible, but remember, I'm trying to make a review about this thing! :P
pixelmusement.com
The one positive is that as you encounter your opponents the game provides overall comparative stats you can view and so far I'm tied in terms of overall strength with the highest strength opponent I've encountered... who I have considerable treaties with so they're not an immediate threat. :B

The problem with reviewing a long-form strategy game is that I'm several hours into a run and there's been ONE fight so far, which I simply retreated my single scout from. The rest has been micromanagement and trade negotiations; hardly "thrilling" gameplay. :P

"Everything"? No. There will always be a tiny number of people (such as myself) who will eat the cost of running a website to keep it ad-free because plastering it with ads would barely offset those costs and make the site far less usable in the process. :P

This interaction between you two SOMEHOW helped me remember a moment from my dreams last night where I was browsing a large selection of old 80s joysticks and showing them to a kid who had never seen such things. ;)

I myself push the idea of being "anti-hate" and every so often someone comes at me with some bad take on that, or some "loophole", but the reality is "anti-hate" is not "pacifism", it's more like what Captain Sheridan said in Babylon 5: "Never start a fight, but always finish it."

Also, if you CAN access the WiFi's web interface using a different device, try rebooting the WiFi router and seeing if your connection to it returns on the laptop. If it DOESN'T, then yeah, it's your laptop, but if it DOES then your WiFi router is to blame.
pixelmusement.com
Well, let's rule out the modem and/or WiFi router then. Next time it craps out, check to make sure the modem lights are all normal and that you can log into and change settings in your WiFi router using a different device like your phone.

...granted, I'm just assuming you're using WiFi. If your laptop is plugged directly into your modem then that's not gonna be it... hrm... :|
