the twine is basically always semi-permanent, only the very last little line connects to the player, so we dont see little gaps. whenever you make a loop, that loop collapses and deals area damage within. enemies dont interact with the twine, only some are afraid of light and some stay in halflight.

i didnt even consider the eye walls of antichamber, its really tempting now to add this as an easteregg!

it should try to defend an area, it can not move though, but only extend left and right. potential SPOILERS: i am thinking that it should only be vulnerable where its eyes currently are

there will be puzzle and action elements, but if i can pull it off it will primarily be a story adventure - think undertale. through player choices you can change that a bit. the wall is thought as a minor foe in the architects mazes - i think it has some good puzzle potential

sounds like good fodder for a game jam. could be interesting to focus on only that one mechanic and make a game out of that.

i have not played dishonoured, i only know that its a stealth shooter. twine will hopefully allow you to choose your playstyle to a certain degree, but stealth shooting is currently not on the list.
