So long, U.S.A. Hola Mexico: Canadians head further south

Yes, Trump & his MAGA cult sealed the deal, but there are plenty of other reasons to pick Mexico over USA; people are friendlier, rich culture, better winter weather, oceans & beaches are spectacular, CAD worth more, cheaper.... ❤️ Mexico! 🇲🇽

Charles Birt and Merilee Mollard are doing what many other Canadians have decided to do — pulling the plug on their annual trip to Texas and spending their time and money in Canada and Mexico instead.

Something I’ve discovered replaying Tomb Raider 2013 and now Rise is that I’ve avoided replaying games because I thought I preferred new experiences. But my memory going back 10 years is so foggy that I actually don’t remember a lot about these and, because of that, they’re new again.

I don’t exist in movies/tv land anymore so I am just learning that Sophie Turner is indeed playing Lara Croft. Between this and new Tomb Raider games, I’m partying over here.

I think I’m just going to build my own SteamOS machine. It’s silly to get excited about Play Anywhere when it is still so hit and miss, Xbox hardware that’ll do what Valve is already doing is years off, and frankly… I don’t want to give Microsoft money anymore.

Squandered opportunity by Apple. It could have done a legit cross-platform gaming play better than anyone. Just didn't care enough to do it. Now it's there, on a very small percentage of games, and it's something barely anyone talks about.

This is just straight-up death to publishers who stick to ads. Even if you try to move to subs, though — have you built something worth paying for? Or, you know… spent years convincing everyone the answer to that is no. martech.org/almost-no-on...
