If anyone ever wants to gaze into RPG design brilliance, especially if you want to design with intent towards how players actually play ttrpgs, read and play GURPS Goblins. You won't regret it.

One of these days, I'm going to make a modern non-GURPS version of it.

Meanwhile, every Dimension 20 trailer makes me antsy for it to come as quick as possible. Maybe Critical Role just needs better trailers

Even seeing clips of the mini campaign where Brennan Lee Mulligan and the delightful Lou Wilson playing, nothing about it was enticing whatsoever. Even Brennan's GMing had a distinctly different style than his normal Dimension 20 stuff
