I’ve learned a new skill lately: Tuning out others voices while I’m reading and thinking deep about a technical problem.

It is the opposite of my usual mode of operation, which is listening to *everything* around me

I just hope coworkers understand it means I’m not trying to be rude >.>

I’m diving so deep into a troubleshooting problem with this Raptor scanner/printer…

…only to find it’s not the drivers or complicated install issue

It was a dead USB port on the laptop for why the printer wouldn’t detect..

I need to always check fundamentals and not assume new laptop just works
