Yes, and: Extremists are extremists. Universalizing religions are universalizing religions--be they Christianity, Islam, or Marxism (note: not Marx as a primary source, but Marxism, as fundamentally a religion).

Both are bad, but I would bet that Hamas is worse, simply because they do terrorize and steal from their own people. Israel seems more likely to keep food away from Hamas. In other words, all corruption is not the same. But I'm really just raising the question--I have no desire to defend anyone.

Currently prepping for the CADEM convention. When I read the challengers' statements, they all sound like this "field work, good stuff, good stuff, we hate Israel, good stuff." The "we hate Israel" (however phrased) bit is pandering. Too bad. We need the good stuff without the stupid distraction.
