Poor Tirzah had a rather nasty snag on her dew claw that took sedation and some trimming. The vet patched her up right and gave her a cute honey bee. For a day she was acting like a tripod and not getting it at all. Then the second day she was back to herself.

Mr. Sol made trouble for me last night. He got into and ate a full box of chocolates sent for a wedding anni gift that arrived in a USPS box. I had no way of knowing it had chocolate. I was at work while wifey was on a trip. A friend checked in on the pups at 9pm and saw the box on the chair.

Mr. Sol had his drain taken out and while that was progress, even on the way out of the vet he was leaking like a faucet so they set him up with this wrap. He’s been doing well. The cone is the obvious point of frustration for him; it clearly messes with his calculations trying to get on the couch!

Mr. Sol has been feeling more himself lately. Third day after surgery he was back in the yard and flopping on the (ostensibly) human couch. He took a leap off the human bed and seemed unfazed. Tomorrow he goes to the vet for a follow up. Considering what the incision looks like he’s doing well.

Mr. Sol hours after surgery when we went to get him but decided it best to let him have a night at the vet since moving him at all was getting him agitated, let alone a lift to and from the car, etc. Then, he’s home with his bed and blankey and some friends to wish him well.
