My party is robbing and fighting their way down the Nine Hells, and they aren’t on an explicit timer. They’ve made a name for themselves, so when they linger, they draw attention - usually unwelcome.

It’s not a problem at all if you plan for the NPCs doing stuff while the party takes extended long rests. Even if they’re not on explicit timers, the world will keep on turning, and it’s the DM‘s duty to make that clear to the players.

Or, in other words: reactionary immigrants should consider whether there is a link between the prosperity they’ve arrived in and social liberalism. Orthodoxy is one thing, and wanting to “build a weapon” against the LGBT is another.

You don’t have to be rich to subscribe to enlightenment thinking, but being surrounded by those who subscribe to the enlightenment tends to help you become richer!

There will be no trying for a long time, because the American market isn’t particularly kind to fantasy and Amazon greenlit too many bombs recently. It’s somehow even worse in Japan, where fantasy anime is basically a corpse puppeteered by NEET isekai.

There has been some suggestion he’s gone cold on R+L=J because fans guessed it, which would be stupid but unfortunately plausible. Changing this would also throw a wrench in his plans.

It was always worse than the books, but the books themselves declined after book 3.
GRRM could neither tie up threads nor abandon them, so the pace slowed to a crawl. I suspect he won’t finish because the broad strokes of the show’s maligned ending matched up with his own plans.

When you only have a few, you can cut them out (they don’t necessarily pop up regularly) or make up lore for them. I got one white hair in my beard at 23 and didn’t get another for years (might have two now?), but it only shows up every couple of weeks.

This still only makes 50. AK is still worthwhile as one of “reach” target if they want to (and they should) aim for a majority, but it doesn’t look good from here.

There are strong indications that Peltola would prefer to run for governor, and AK-SEN would be much less winnable without her (likely R, in my view).
