Farm workers are hard at work in in Fresno CA harvesting pomegranates. They earn minimum wage and spend their days filling sacks that weigh up around 60 pounds when full. They then dump the sacks into the bins. A tractor hauls the full bins to cold storage. #WeFeedYou

They’re large and lined with light fur but the star of the ear show are the glorious orange tips at the top of each ear…they add a whole extra inch or so to the ear, bringing it to a floofy point. Up close we can see how soft and smooth Gizmo’s cost is - the orange fur on his head and shoulders blends in to the snow white chest fur which sweeps down his front.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying on his back sprawled out on a grey/silver/white rug. His luxurious tail is at the bottom of the picture - it’s as wide as two or three regular cat tails because of the huge floofy coat! His long tummy is covered in creamier coloured fur that’s a long mixture of orange and white. We can’t really see his head but there’s a tell tale pointy ear at the top end confirming his head is indeed still attached 😹😹 At the top of the picture is a feature fireplace with a roaring (fake) fire providing a lovely orange glow to the scene. The fire has red and white tinsel running along the front and to the right we see some Christmas decorations on a shelf of the feature wall.

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.
