Husband, father, teacher, innovator, entrepreneur, engineer, consultant. Innovation is cool but adoption is cooler. We have are in the midst of an epistemological crisis and a loss of trust; the way out is thinking carefully about "how do we know".
Love the Shabbatai Zvi reference! A lot of things can go wrong, for sure. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

An excellent example of how the value of a company depends on how you assess it's assets, operations, and future prospects. Tesla also produces software and batteries that will be incorporated into many other vehicles, which makes the comparison less useful. Not to mention subsidies. ;)

Keep in mind all those Israelis who were refugees from Arab countries after WWII and after the foundation of the State. Also consider the Palestinian Arabs who are now Israeli citizens with representation in the Government. But the refugees in the territories is also a tragic truth. Not simple.

Agreed. SOME critics & defenders of Israel lapse into all-or-nothing thinking when it suits them, leaving the rest of us to figure out simply what has happened (how did we get here) and what is happening now. IMO, between the extremes, it's legit to criticize if you're mindful about HOW you do it.
