We literally would not have Mannerism or Post-modernism or Art Deco or multiple other architectural styles without them first understanding another style that was then re-interpreted. This is why architects must study culture, art, history, etc.

Something is really wrong if people think they “get” things from an AI recap. It’s like everyone is the kid in HS reading the cliffs notes to try to pass a quiz but in this case it might not even be factually correct. Generations that don’t enjoy reading and thinking will kill us all

Agreed. AI isn’t sitting there listening to the client ask for five competing ideas while you design a building. And the act of iteration gets you to the better design

Just got my second shot and I never react to vaccines. This one caused me one day of a fever and napping all day. Totally worth it. Will always trade one day of napping for painfully debilitating shingles
