Might you be thinking of the Amish or the Menonites? Quakers are significantly less conservative in the absolute sense than you seem to think. We've been at the forefront of every victory in societal progress. From free speech, to abolition, to women's suffrage, to Palestine, to the civil rights.

Had to take a step back so that I could be the mom my daughters deserve. Now I'm taking a big fokking step forwards to take a stand for them. We are not "host bodies" to be used at ANYONES BEHEST OR WHIM as State Rep. jOsE oLiVa stated in an interview with Jim DeFede on CBS Facing South Florida.
