Awww! Reminds me of the one and only word my budgie ever said: “CHEEEP” but in a maniacal high pitched screech because that’s what I always greeted her with.

I wanted, planned for and love my children, but I’m telling you, there are challenging moments where I have to remind myself that you CHOSE this, dummy, so deal with it. I couldn’t imagine being forced into parenthood.

I hope it helps! That’s why I wanted to share. It sounds like woo but it is based on an ingredient of an effective Harrison’s supplement which is no longer available. It has been six months and both the girls’ hormonal behaviour dropped to zero.

The vet also said you can feed them prepared tea. One of her own birds died of egg binding, so she was passionate about it. Other important tips to manage hormones: 14 hours of sleep and limit fatty food.

I use the Traditional Medicines organic brand, which I’ve found in some grocery stores and pharmacies around me, and also Amazon. We mix a teabag into their food every few days.

Haha, I believe it! The babies are in awe of the budgies. They love budgie stories.

My budgie didn’t show any response when I showed him his friend, but he got more and more withdrawn over the next couple of weeks. I don’t know if showing him helped him understand, but he definitely felt his friend’s absence.

Oh I thought you meant you polished Ohtori’s claws and I was really excited for a moment that there was bird safe polish, because I really need a way to tell my birds apart when I’m not wearing glasses. (Both of your claws look nice and shiny!)

Haha, much better than the “realistic” Amazon knockoffs. Those eyes are still staring into my soul.

Yeah, in real time, then snap at the right moment and you can circle for the best view haha

That’s what Spritzer did to if you’re happy and you know it. The other boys learned it, and not only do they sing the same ending, they add that ending to a bunch of other songs. It’s their local culture, haha

If you let him stand there for a minute, he starts stretching 🥵

Yes, it’s shocking sometime when you see how red they are in the light!

Wow, the bird can do vibrato! I’m teaching my birds jingle bells. If they sang it on the tree, my head would explode.

Hahaha, I’m sure it was worth it
