I've noticed that the difference between many Then and Now pictures is the increased growth of trees in cities - which isn't what you'd naturally expect.

Thank you! I do it with stereoviews (because I'm a bit nerdy) but there's no reason why all old photographs couldn't be tagged like this. It takes time and effort, but it may be one of the last bastions of human research and intelligence in a field where AI bots will probably flounder.
