A few months ago, ICE hired me

I didn't sign and submit any paperwork. I almost certainly failed the drug test. I'm real outspoken about my opposition to the Trump administration, and I am extremely googlable

And yet, there it was, in plain English. "Welcome to ICE!"

My latest for Slate
You’ve Heard About Who ICE Is Recruiting. The Truth Is Far Worse. I’m the Proof.
What happens when you do minimal screening before hiring agents, arming them, and sending them into the streets? We're all finding out.

It's a website, not an ancestral home occupied by foreign invaders. Just log off that one and log on somewhere else, which reduces the network effects attracting people to the first one.

The perverts and pedophiles relegated to a fringy echo chamber with no one to harass sounds bad because... ???
I mean it’s gonna be really hard to top this one

DHS didn't leak the video because they believe an honest look at the evidence shows the ICE officer under deadly threat.

It's because they believe supporters will go "yeah, he showed that fucking bitch," media will go "controversy, who's to say," and muddying the waters gets normies to check out.

Which country’s leader’s wife snubbed the VP? Was it Greenland or Iceland? Is that why they are doing this?

…not that anything coming from a dementia raddled hollow and hateful trust fund baby would make any sense, just a thought I was wondering about

As a principled libertarian, I believe that anyone who doesn't immediately do what ICE says should be shot dead. And as a principled states' rights advocate, I believe that the federal government should not allow states to prosecute these shootings.

Names aren't classified, publishing a government higher-up's name is not "doxxing," and journalists are entitled to publish news, even if it is classified, as long as they don't break the law to get it.

It's not the press's job to keep the government's secrets.

One of the organizations the US withdrew from is the European Centre for Countering Hybrid Threats.

That group primarily focuses on protecting European democracies from hostile Russian intelligence and military operations. Except the current US government hopes to see those hostile ops succeed.

I appreciate a lot of us will think "they've always been like this" but the utter moral decay on the right in the last few years has been notable.

A shift from love the sinner, hate the sin fig leaf to "yeah, kill she/her, haha, pronouns in bio."
Jesse Watters highlights that Renee Nicole Good, the woman killed by ICE, had "pronouns in her bio" and "leaves behind a lesbian partner and a child from a previous marriage"

One crypto company gave over $20 million.
