Sarah Cain, Paul Griffiths, Hannah McFaull, Nancy Vastagh, and I read our contributions to Billy Bragg: A People’s History last night at Alibi Bookshop. Richard Houghton, Iain Key, and Billy Bragg appeared via video. It was the highlight of my year! Love that Billy Bragg also read a poem!

SATURDAY, MAY 31, 12-3:30pm: OPENING DAY of The Art of a Community at Arts Benicia, 1 Commandant Lane. Poets are invited to choose one piece to which to write an ekphrastic poem. There will be a signup sheet and instructions posted at the gallery. The ekphrastic reading will be July 12, 2-4pm.
