Some stupid and silly fun. It's nice to see a Western animated film based on a legacy IP not have too much stupid crap shoehorned in a misguided attempt to please a modern audience. They clearly cared about what they were working with and were devoted to delivering an animation focused work.

I'd consider buying a more readily available version from another country but I think ours is the only one with an English subbed bonus feature disc.

Also agh, their Godzilla Minus One Deluxe release is sold out! I didn't realise. I was waiting for another sale but I guess it sold out a while ago. Should've bought during the early bird last year. Looks like there's a slightly beat up used one online that isn't THAT expensive.

I don't like the idea that it'll take 8 years to make so I'm placing that as the major tentpole release for the first half of 2027

Given the gap between Remake and Rebirth, late 2027 is possible. 46 months between them with Covid. Apply that from Rebirth and you get Dec 2027, but November would make more sense for business probably. If it's 2028 I think it'd be early in the year, maybe even just January.

I've been a bit unplugged from Disney comics for a while, but I'd like to get back in now that I have proper income. At the very least I'd like to get more volumes of Fantagraphics' Carl Barks Library despite the edits Disney made them do half way through.

Yep.... I hate thinking "oh man I'm gonna do this tonight, awesome!" and then by the end I'll be slumped on my bed or small couch with youtube on my tablet.

That's the trick though. You'll hate yourself more when you ARE alone. By being with others you can be happy. Any frustrations and fears can be tucked away. Other people can fill in the gaps for ourselves.
