You’re welcome, lmk if you have other questions, and I’m happy to spread Sharks propaganda haha

Last week, an opposing player refused to shake the mascot’s (Sharkie, pictured below) hand and we booed him the entire game long like our worst enemy

The current rumors are that Celebrini will make it. So I recommend getting into the Sharks, they’re still not great but Celebrini is very exciting to watch

The problem is that Canada has way too many amazing players, and historically a preference for older experienced players over younger ones. Which I do get, but both are so good that it’s worth it imo

The Rangers aren’t good but also aren’t terrible, still a fine team to support without always misery haha

The current discourse around the Olympic selections is if Canada is gonna bring their young stars having insane years - Celebrini and Bedard, 19 and 20 years old but 2nd and 4th in NHL scoring

Oh wow 👀 fingers crossed on that one

Ahh I see. Yeah still fucking sucks
December 8, 2025 at 2:28 PM
That’s another theme this year, lots of injuries, with a more compressed schedule because of the Olympics.

The most hated teams are the Panthers and the Knights.
December 8, 2025 at 2:14 PM
The definitely shit teams this year are Canucks, Preds, Sabres, Flames (sorry lol).

A number of previously top teams have also struggled more this year, including last year’s finalists of Oilers and Panthers (though they’re missing their best two players from long injuries), also Leafs

I’d say other top teams would be the Wild, Caps, Canes, Tampa? A lot of the previously shit teams have improved this year led by exciting young talent, especially the Ducks but also the Islanders, Sharks, Hawks. Personally I root most for the Sharks, they’ve got great vibes.

I’ve been getting a lot more into hockey the last few weeks!

Currently the best team is definitely the Avs, but I hate them cause I like the Stars, who are pretty solidly 2nd best. Besides that, the standings are quite close this season, it’s hard to properly rank most teams.

Damn is it no longer ending in the velodrome?

"Individual players can be selected for random testing during the regular season and playoffs. Any time the testing takes place, it must be done "at work on the day of a scheduled practice or meeting." Testing does not occur on game days."
December 1, 2025 at 8:00 PM
"The new edict allowed for testing in the playoffs and offseason, though in a limited capacity. A maximum of 60 players are tested in the offseason, and they are selected randomly. Every team is subject to teamwide, no-notice testing once during training camp and once during the regular season."
