I still remember Randall Munroe recommending José de Acosta's 1590 "Natural and Moral History of the Indies", back when the show was at Vox. I really need to get on with reading that one 😅

It also harms Canadians' health if we can't get generic drugs approved here. The status quo described in Grant's article, with the ever-lengthening timelines for approval and Health Canada Canada gaming its metrics, is not sustainable.

It's possible. I'm not a woman, but by ~2018 what happened to me is that I was tired of being on devices all the time (I have a white-collar job), and I started craving the experience of print again. Maybe other millennials / Gen X are in my situation
