There are 3 broad scenarios for this admin I conceive:
1. Incompetence and diversion, again, Trump wastes his time and doesn’t do LETHAL damage to the country. The midterms aren’t rigged, but economic failure, preventable epidemics and natural disasters, and political violence rise. Unlikely.

I’ve been reading Democracy in America by Alexander de Tocqueville, and reflecting on the “idea of America”. Firstly in the idea of the “ethos” of the country, but more importantly our mental models of it, versus the reality. Really I’m thinking about liberals, neoliberals, etc. 1/n
