So my kid had a meltdown at hockey today because his dad hasn't come to a single game or practice this season. Now all the hockey dads talk to me. They don't know I am also a hockey dad.

We had fish and chips for dinner last night and I'm still suffering a little bit from it. Im pretty sure there was mild cross contamination with shellfish. My throat is still a little itchy. I won't be eating anymore fish and chips.

Labs have a double coat. My dog isn't cold when its 4°C outside. My pitbull mix was definitely cold; my German/King Shepherd was not cold; my labrador isn't cold either.

A good thing aboit having a freezer full of frozen vegetables is that when I discover I don't actually have enough potatoes for shepherd's pie, I can add to the mash with sweet potato and cauliflower.

I am on beantok. But not the beantok that's all about eating 2 cups of plain canned beans a day. We are already eating lots of lentils and chickpeas here. Looking to add pinto and lima beans now. We haven't had steak in 3 months. It's time for beans.
