Saddened by the legislation in the House Reconciliation bill & furious at the GOP CMs who voted to pass it.

Thankful that: In the managers amendment to the bill at the last hour, the sale of ~ 500,000 public lands was removed from the bill.

I'm watching the house committee vote live on the reconciliation bill on YouTube and the straight faced lying on the part of the GOP is incredible. Tune in! You can see the GOP are saying that it would not raise the deficit when the CBO is saying that it will.
An almost impressive level of straight faced lying.
REPORTER: Is the president okay with this bill adding to the deficit?

LEAVITT: This bill does not add to the deficit
