Brown University is caving to Trump.

They are banning trans women from female bathrooms, dorms, locker rooms, and sports across campus. They're also cracking down on trans care for minors, though that is unlikely to be broadly impactful since it's a university.

As we have for decades, Brown has agreed to abide by Title
IX and NCAA eligibility rules regarding the participation of

#Syria: General Mahfouz was the 1st warden of Saydnaya prison to begin mass hangings after outbreak of anti-Assad protests.

He's responsible for the execution of between 1,356 and 4,340 detainees - this doesn't include those who died under torture.

General Mahfouz was killed by Rebels in May 2013.

J'aurais dû rencontrer Behremjan en prison en janvier dernier. Quelques jours avant ma visite, une émeute a éclaté dans le centre de détention, qui aurait fait au moins trois morts parmi les prisonniers : impossible de rentrer.

En 1999, Behremjan Exmet est condamné à mort pour "attentat terroriste". Depuis que sa peine a été commuée en perpétuité, il croupit dans les geôles kirghizes, où il a essuyé de nombreuses tortures, et continue de clamer son innocence jusqu'à aujourd'hui. 4/7
