From personal experience, there are some places in the UK, notably Richmond Park, where the ground is entirely covered by ferns.

If I have one lesson to teach, it's that if someone is making your community a not-nice place to be in, you have every right to remove them, regardless of who they are, how popular they are, or how sad they are by being removed.

Moderation is not easy.

Year 1 artist: using references is cheating

Year 10 artist: maybe I should check how lizard scales look...

Year 20 as an artist: This is due tomorrow, I'm just going to photograph my husband and trace it.

Year 30 as an artist: I'm going to get a regular job and pay another artist to do it.

It's much better to use something like that for all the export options and modularity it gives, but you've really made it your own.

Gen.slop is killing itself and people are starting to see it as an indicator of poor quality and scams.

Most new, bad, large systems are operating beyond capacity and will eventually break themselves given enough time.

If you have nothing else, have hope - and compassion for yourself.

With luck, your leaked materials will work as free PR and draw in more people who want to support you (and most people visiting your patreon would not have seen it anyway, and you should not advertise leaks).
Politics are a mess, but there is always hope for the future. Things have been bad before.

You should take a break from the news and social media, look around you for some people to take care of (like family or neighbours) and take in what good is happening locally.

There are places you can volunteer if you want to make real change - the elderly need care, the environment needs tending.
