My favorite series of all time!
Mage's Blood: The Moontide Quartet Book 1 a.co/d/1gxV7QN
I will hands down call this series the best worldbuilding I've ever read and the narration the best I've ever heard. Fight me on it, I dare you. That would mean you have to listen to it first. 10/10 #booksky

Blood at the Root by LaDarrion Williams.
This is easily a 9/10 story. It was well outside my comfort zone and I'm happy to add it to my top 10 YA stories of all time. Where Legendborn is #blackgirlmagic, this story is #blackboymagic. I loved every bit of this!

Who are you rooting for to win the Super Bowl? The Kansas City Chiefs or the Philadelphia Eagles?

I am supporting Jill Stein to become Super Bowl champion. She is not part of the NFL UNIPARTY, and if she can get 5% of rushing yards the green party will get increased funding in the 2028 NFL playoffs

I just finished binging UnderVerse, I loved it. The MC is just the right kind of irrelevant asshole and all-around anti-hero turned badass.

I'm adding all of these to my February TBR
Boys are being radicalized online. It’s not that boys are easier it’s that boys get left completely alone.

Here are some “boy books” that affirm Black self image but are good for any boy.

“He’s not a reader” is not a valid excuse. Find a way or Candice Owens & Nick Fuentes will.

On This Account We Believe That ALL Trans Identities Are Valid

There are so many good books with trans characters out there these barely scratch the surface but if you are new to seeking out trans stories or stories w/ trans characters, this is a start. What else can I add to my list? #booksky

I refuse to take seriously the opinions of those who truly believe this... if that offends you then please address how your cognitive dissonance affects your critical thinking skills without being a dick in my comment section.
Reading is political.

Reading has always been political.

Your favorite characters wouldn’t just sit by and watch. They’d get up and burn some shit to the ground.

My first foray into intentionally transhumanist storytelling. It's gruesome; it's gory, and it gets the people going. I absolutely loved this.

This one has been on my TBR for a while. I'll probably pick it up for February's reading list.
I hear the first book of my series, Apocalypse Parenting: Time to Play, is included Audible's 2-for-1 sale this week!

It's about a mom who has to teach her kids to fight monsters, while learning to survive herself. Many moms are heroes, but for most it's less literal.
