That's George Canale wearing number 6 for some reason. A blessing and a curse of this project is I have a dozen unique cards for each junk wax era player, so an easy fix.

I realize it might be a hot take, but I like the 1990 Topps design

A delayed mail day due to the holidays and a vacation, arriving recently we have Danny Jansen, Wil Nieves, Bronswell Patrick, and Steve Falteisek! Thanks to @ignitorkid.bsky.social for sending over the latter three cards!

Every time I visit my parents house, I raid my childhood bedroom for Brewers memorabilia to add to my home office/Brewers shrine. Despite having done this for years, somehow I always find some cool thing squirreled away. After visiting for Christmas, I found this really cool Bob Uecker nesting doll

The good news and the bad news is that Blalock bought his own card, so there's no chance of getting it.

Baseball card fans, I have gotten down to the final 40 cards that I need to complete my goal of having every Brewers player on a Brewers baseball card. If you have any of these cards below, please let me know, and I will buy them from you! Some of them cannot be found on Ebay or other sites.

Massive mail day with 65+ cards arriving, but here's nine cards that are interesting or novel in some way

Today's mail day brings Andrew Lorraine, who pitched for the Brewers in 2002. Amassing a whopping 11.25 ERA during his 5 games in Milwaukee, he did not get a Brewers card until a 2010 set was released honoring Jewish MLB players

This is a bit of a weird one, but yes. From what I can tell, he had never had an official card issued by a card manufacturer.

HOWEVER

There's two cards that I would call "ghost cards," with the only way to get them is to write Murph for a signature.

The third and final is Bill Voss. Voss was primarily a right fielder for the Crew in 1971 and 1972. In 1971 he had a mediocre 0.4 WAR season over 97 games. However, in 1972, Voss played in 27 games, amassing only three hits, and ended his tenure with the Brewers by going 17 games without a hit.

The second card is Pete Koegel. Koegel was a September call up in 1970. He played in 7 games, mostly as a pinch hitter, had 9 PAs, and 2 hits. He started with the club in 1971, but was traded after two games (and zero hits) to the Phillies. Apparently those stats are enough to be a "Rookie Star"

Mail day brings three new cards: the first, Russ Snyder. Snyder was an every day platoon outfielder during the inaugural Brewers season. He hit a paltry .232 and was a -1.6 WAR player. He went into spring training with the team in 1971, but was cut and decided to retire.

Mail day has returned and with it has card number 737, Quinn Priester. A stalwart starter for the Crew in 2025, he reached a club record of 19 victories in a row in which he appeared. He has one Brewers card, from the 2025 run of Topps Now.
