I am told 2-11 FAR is keeping its Charlie Battery (M777 battery in light cannon battalions), but a decision has not been made on what to do with it.

The TPY-2 was facing Yemen in Dec, so they would have to turn it more recently so It could handle Iranian threats. THAAD has spent much of its time in Israel taking down Houthi BMs prior to the current events.

Our closest look at the AIM-260 #JATM guidance section yet. Quite a contrast to the AMRAAM with a much pointier radome and the almost non existent fins. Also distinct are the two sets of apertures covering the diameter of the section (presumably a multi-band targeting device). 📸 Colin Clark CCFOC1
