Oh boy. CBS reporting lone suspect was an Afghani national and others say terrorism unit is taking over.
If this was a terror-related incident, a lot more questions are raised.
And likely the Administration will use to justify needing more National Guard here.

The US represents 5% of the world's population, yet we have 46% of the world's civilian-owned guns. Those same guns are the number one killer of our children and young adults. It's past time for sensible gun regulation.

I visited DC several years ago. I walked the National Mall, Memorial Parks & much of downtown, 7-8 miles as I recall. I had lunch in a lovely park. I was alone. The streets, sidewalks, grounds & monuments were well maintained. I never once felt unsafe. Obama was president at the time.

Military aid to Ukraine has always been a bargain for the U.S.
We degraded Russia’s armed forces and replaced our own stockpiles with brand new weapons, all while brave Ukrainians— not Americans—fought the Russians off.
Halting that aid is not only morally repulsive, it’s plain stupid.

They run them bc people react to them the most.
If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.
