No, not quite; that started many thousands of years ago. While MAGA is, indeed, a regressive movement, the goal is to return to 1950, the last time they feel America was "geat" - fresh off WW2, Jim Crow was law, LGBTQ stayed hidden, women stayed in the home & bedroom, etc.

We rarely see the northern lights here in South Carolina, so in October 2024, we were watching comet Tsuchinshan. This was the view from North Charleston, S.C., on 13 Oct. 2024. 🙂
